Tim's Message (continued)

Our coaches have gone through a screening process and have attended clinics to better educate themselves as role models for our children. Please give these dedicated volunteers your support and cooperation. Understandably, there will be disagreements among parents and coaches. Please try to settle these problems between yourselves. If however, you cannot come to a mutual agreement, I will intervene to try to solve the problem.

This year we have 38 teams competing in 5 different divisions for a total of over 700 children participating. This year's budget is more than $100,000 of which 95% is raised through registration fees, sponsorship fees, candy sales, lottery ticket sales and the refreshment stand. Please support our fundraisers and patronize the stand whenever possible.

When you attend games at our fields, please use the designated parking areas. Do not park at the foot of Edward Avenue or Irvington Place. When playing on field #3 (Dempster Field) use the parking area at the foot of Samdin Blvd. I must insist that when attending games at Hamilton Little Lads, you conduct yourself in a courteous and responsible manner. Any outburst of foul language or destruction of property WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

Hamilton Little Lads has been providing a quality baseball program to the children of Hamilton Township for over 50 years. We feel our fields and facilities are second to none. The membership workds hard all year to keep it that way. Please dispose of trash in the receptacles provided. Each team is required to participate in clean-up details before and during the season. Parent participation is always welcome and appreciated.

Last year proved to be a very successful year for our league. As we begin our 59th season, we are proud and happy to serve the children of our community. Please come out and support all the girls and boys of our league throughout the year. Together, all of us can make the 2006 season a great success!
